Happy New Year all !!! The school theme for this term is 'Food Glorious Food. As you know we will not be able to meet at school at the moment. I will be sending you activities, stories, songs and skills to practise. Please feel free to send photos on Class Dojo of the things you do at home. I know some of you enjoy helping with the cooking!

Our theme this term is based on the film 'Inside Out'.



Skills to practice regularly are as follows :-

Practise typing skills using a computer or iPad to copy numbers and words. 

Practise counting, using numbers in everyday situations - Recognise and write numbers                                                                 

Practise writing / tracing numbers and letters

Practise reading / letter recognition

Practise telling the time.

Practise listening to and following instructions (encourage the understanding of prepositions)

Practise using naming and description words (encourage full sentences to describe what they see)

What is Thrive?

Thrive is an approach to supporting the emotional development of our pupils. Thrive helps us to better understand the needs being signaled by their behaviour, and gives us targeted strategies and activities to help them better engage with learning. Thrive also comes with an online tool to assess and collate data on how our pupils are progressing in terms of their emotional development.
