February Events Pobbles

Further to the letter we sent home with dates, we just wanted to have a place here where you can quickly see everything we have planned in February in Dosbarth Pobbles.

Further to the events list we sent home we just wanted to leave a note here with all upcoming events just incase. 
2nd – Wear red for children’s heart foundation.

6th - A visit from local fitness instructor Dylan who will be teaching us some boxing moves! This week we also hope to have a visit from Enzo Maccarinelli aspart of our heritage work.

7th – Class trip

13th – Beauty and the beast rich task and afternoon tea party (children are welcome to dress up if they wish). We will also be having a visit from Beauty andthe Beast courtesy of Fairytale Moments who will be posing for pictures with us, joining in on our afternoon tea party and reading us a story!

19th – 23rd – Half term, no school.

26th – Wales/Heritage week – different welsh activities, looking at famous boxers from Swansea and celebrating St David’s Day.

27th – Pirate Day (children are invited to dress up as pirates , this will be our class book for studying welsh authors for world book. Pirate rich task and party.

28th – Class trip

Every Friday – Scallywags.

What is Thrive?

Thrive is an approach to supporting the emotional development of our pupils. Thrive helps us to better understand the needs being signaled by their behaviour, and gives us targeted strategies and activities to help them better engage with learning. Thrive also comes with an online tool to assess and collate data on how our pupils are progressing in terms of their emotional development.
