Good morning all, I hope you all enjoyed Halloween and had a good week off. Here are some activities I would like you to work on this week.
First, have a go at the new Sherry Zak Morris Halloween special chair dance, The Monster Mash!
Next, Mr Williams would like you to watch this video about the wrestler Mark Henry and complete the worksheet. The worksheet is on our class Dojo.
Then, write an acrostic poem like the ones we have done in class. The word you will use is Firework. I have started this one off in case you need some help.
F: Flashing lights in the sky,
I: Interesting shapes and colours,
Good morning Dosbarth Oxwich!
Please find below a link to some maths games you can play on your PC or tablet to practice ordering and sorting numbers. The ability can be amended at the top of the page.
I have also added the link to a wonderful story called Carla's Sandwich.
Parents can then access the parents guide for some lovely learning activities. Link below.
Next term we are looking at sports. In preparation, please start thinking about popular sports activities that we enjoy.
1) pupils to write a list of all the sports they can think of
2) Pupils should draw a picture that represents a popular sport
3) pupils to write a sentence/paragraph about the chosen sport. Why is it popular? Where is it played? What are the basic rules of the sport? What do players wear? etc
