Summer 1 Week 4 Newsletter

In numeracy this week we have been practising our money skills. We have been matching coins to Numicon and working out how much money was in the piggy banks. In literacy we have been working on our fine-motor skills by cutting out and sticking pirate pictures. We have also been working on our spellings, one to one reading and independent working. We have also been working in our garden this week and learning about what plants need to grow. The sunflowers that we planted are growing beautifully. Thank you for your support on sports day. All the pupils enjoyed the day in the sun! In the morning session we had a carousel of activities such as egg and spoon, tug of war, high jump, javelin and many more. And then, as some of know, the races in the afternoon. This week in cookery the pupils followed a recipe to make rocky road which was delicious.

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
