Spring 2 Week 2

On Monday we went on a trip to town. We went to Waterstones to have a look around the shop and choose a book with our World Book Day tokens. We also went to Poundland to work on our numeracy money targets. We chose an item and then paid for it ourselves. In art we made fire pictures practicing our cutting skills and using colours to represent fire. In literacy this week we have been working on our comprehension skills. We read a fact file all about frogs and then answered questions about it. We also read a story about the life of a firefighter and then drew and labelled firefighter pictures. We had a special visitor from the Fire Station who brought in lots of uniforms and equipment for us to try on. We also had a session with Lucy our music therapist this week. The pupils choose different instruments to play and sing along to the piano.

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
