Spring 1 Week 3 Newsletter

This week in Science we planted peppers and kiwis in our garden. In art we made a collage of the Great Fire of London. We used orange, yellow and red crepe paper to create the fire background and then cut out silhouettes of buildings from black card. They look great! We were very lucky this week to have a session with a music therapist. The pupils enjoyed singing along and playing the different instruments. In literacy we have been working in our groups on our phonics. We have been practising our new sound. In numeracy we have been practising recording a tally. We have also been playing number games to transfer these skills into different areas. Everyone enjoyed our trip to Morriston park on Wednesday. We went for a walk, played in the park and looked at the ducks.

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
