Newsletter Spring 1 Week 7

This week we have been finishing our Eisteddfod competition entries! We have been working really hard to create a fire engine out of junk modelling as a class. We looked at photographs of fire engines and then decided what we wanted to include. We also practiced performing our poem which is lovely. In numeracy we have been learning the words for numbers by listening to a number rap, playing online games and matching the words to the numbers. We have also been using five frames to paint numbers. In history we have been looking at old pictures from the Great Fire of London and new pictures and deciding how we can tell which ones are now and which ones are then? We discovered that they didn't have electricity 400 years ago and all the pictures were in black and white!

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
