Autumn 1 Week 4 Newsletter

In PE this week we started to practice gymnastics shapes for a competition at the end of term. The pupils did really well! In literacy this week we worked on a new sound of the week 'a'. We sorted pictures into their beginning sounds. We also learnt about myths and legends and read a legend from our topic country Zambia. In IT we learnt how to give each other instructions to practice for when we use the Bee Bots. We learnt forwards, backwards, left and right. We talked about how important it is to give accurate instructions. In maths this week we worked on our new number of the week '3'. We also practised our counting skills and learnt how to represent numbers in different ways. In team games we used our bodies to make music.

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
