Autumn 1 Week 3

In geography this week we used our passports to board our pirate ship and sail the seven seas to Zambia! Once we arrived we explored the country. We tasted different foods and learnt the colours of the Zambian flag. In literacy we continued to work on our sound of the week 'm'. We spotted the initial 'm' words, completed a worksheet and then played 'm' bingo. Next week we will move on to a new sound. In maths we worked on a new number of the week and practised counting objects and pictures in different ways. We have also been doing baseline assessments this week to make sure that we are in the correct groups. All the pupils have worked really hard and had a fantastic week! Have a lovely weekend.

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
