KEEPING SAFE WEEK NOVEMBER 2018

Pupils, staff and parents took part in a week of workshops to help us stay safe in lots of different environments.

As well as lots of fun activities in class we had many visitors from the community.

Water Safety came in to teach us how to be safe next to water and how to rescue someone who needs help in the water.

Road Safety showed us how to be safe when crossing the road.

Western Power talked to us about the dangers of electrical wires and the hazards around us.  We had the chance to use virtual reality headsets which helped us to understand the dangers of electricity.

We have been learning about First Aid and CPR with St John’s ambulance.

We thoroughly enjoyed learning about CPR with Wayne from St John’s ambulance.

3 Mobile talked to us about how to keep safe online. We found out about information that we should keep private.

South Wales Police came in and we had fun dressing up as Police officers and they explained to us about how they keep us safe.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue showed us how to keep safe and we enjoyed trying on the protective clothing.

Parents had workshops on Sex and Relationships Education and Internet Safety.

Thank you to all our partners who came in to help us make Keeping Safe Week a success.
