Heritage Project 2019

The school project encouraged pupils to find out about people in their community, especially those who help others.

The pupils chose to focus on two specific charities, the RNLI and the Wales Air Ambulance.

Classes completed work based on the RNLI and Air Ambulance community helpers and participated in visits and activities linked to these.
Pupils learnt about other community helpers too, such as the fire service and the police.
Each class had guests who visited our school to talk about their work.
Pupils worked really hard across all curriculum areas producing some absolutely fantastic work!
Some of the work was used as entries for our school Eisteddfod.
Classes also raised money for their chosen charity

Article 28 of the UNCRC says that children and young people have the right to education.
