We wanted to incorporate the Royal Wedding into our learning but in a more appropriate and hands-on way for our students to be able to get the most from the experience. We are over the moon to announce that thanks to some AMAZING people and businesses in our community we were able to have our very own 'Royal Wedding' with Millie and Logan getting married at Manor Park, Clydach.
Special thank you's to:
- Terry Thomas & Kyle at Manor Park, Clydach for providing us with your beautiful venue, decorating it to the highest standards like a proper weapon and making some delicious sandwiches for us to eat, as well as crisps and drinks. We couldn't have had a better venue if we had tried. It was perfect in every way.- Malcolm Lake, Dean and Alan Robertson from Platinum Skyline Wales for picking us up from school, taking us to our wedding venue and back to school afterwards. The children had the most wonderful time in your vans which are decorated amazingly. - Stacey Clarke from Stacey Clarke Photography for taking the most amazing photos we have ever seen of our pupils and giving them and their families photos where memories will last a lifetime. - James Williams for filming the day and putting together the most amazing film to show off our wedding. (Watch it here)- Beach Hut Cafe and Copperfish at Mumbles Pier for helping us to finish our Wedding with beautiful afternoon tea and lunch, allowing us to have Copperfish to ourselves and providing the most amazing service we could have wished for.
Dosbarth Pobbles staff would also like to send a huge thank you to all our children's families and friends for coming along and supporting the day and helping us to provide the best possible experiences for our pupils. We hope you all enjoyed.
