Classes/Dosbarthiadau

Croeso I Dosbarth Limeslade.

This term our whole school topic 'Traditional Tales'.

We've decided to do two rich takes ( they are like a project) based on the topic.

Our first is creating a stop motion movie of 'Jack the Giant Slayer'. We will be watching the movie, sequencing the scenes in the movie and using this to retell the story. After this, we will be creating story boards of the movie, adding our own special twist to the tale then creating our very own stop motion movies. We will then be creating persuasive advertising posters or our movies.

For our second rich task, we will be reading the traditional tale 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and comparing it to the film version of the story. We will be writing persuasive letters to the giant and planning and preparing an alternative meal for him to eat, instead of Jack!
